A clean example of a British army officers pattern collared shirt, in light green cotton poplin. This example likely dates from the 1940s to 1950s as the style changed little throughout that time.
This example is made by 'Mastocraft' and is complete with its label to the rear of the collar. It features an attached collar, half placket front, twin buttoned chest pockets and buttoned epaulettes. The material is a lovely light green shade of cotton poplin.
There appears to be no significant wear or damage overall, however there is a crude repair to a rip on the right side of the small of the back. Aside from this the shirt appears to be largely unworn. All brown plastic buttons are present and intact. The collar tips appear to have metal stays inside to keep their shape.
Size is marked 15 inches inside the collar while the chest measures approximately 21 inches with a sleeve length of 24.5 inches approximately.
Overall an excellent clean shirt, ideal for display.
