A good field used example of the webbing map case associated with the 1937 pattern webbing equipment, used by officers, despatch riders, some NCOs and other related roles.
This example is maker marked 'FINNIGANS Ltd' and dated 1944 and is complete with its carrying strap. It has been hand marked for identification by the owner; this being the name 'FORDHAM' to the rear and the number '13' to both front and back.
Condition is grubby but serviceable, with some verdigris to the metalwork.
Inyterestingly this example still bears evidence of pencil markings to the plastic inner, which are still legible to make out ppstition and movements.
