An interesting example of a kit bag that has been stencilled most likely in Germany during the immediate post-war occupation.
This kit bag is dated 1942 made by H.M.P. and is in very clean condition with only storage marks and speckling form storage. All brass eyelets are in fine shape, though no tightening rope is present. The name Major G. L. Webb has been stamped in rather traditional Germanic style font, indicating German occupation.
No identification has been found on Major Webb.
