A fair example of the leather belt that forms part of the Sam Browne officer's equipment set.
This one likely dates from Great War to Second World War era. There is some overall wear from use, however the inner reinforcements are in good shape and not worn through. The brass fitting are reasonably clean and the D rings are not misshapen.
The overall shape has been slightly distorted from storage, yet would easily be corrected.
The size is approximately 32-33 when secured in the correct fashion
