A good large sized example of the 1908 pattern waist belt, dated 1919 and in a size large.
The metalwork has dulled from lack of polish, yet the webbing remains in good clean condition. The belt has been treated to a coat of 97 shade blanco at some point in the Inter-War period. There are some blotches to the blanco at the front of the belt, these may gently scrub out.
There is a handwritten set of initials reading 'L. J. E.' along with the number '84201' on the inside of the belt.
