A well used but scarce example of the First Field Dressing marked for issue to the British Army in India. This example is made by 'ARTHUR BERTON LIMITED LONDON' and dated September 1918.
The cover is in poor condition as pictured, though both dressings remain intact they have lost their glued labels. One remains with the outer packet in several pieces. The white cotton tapes remain with the outer portion.
Whilst the condition leaves a little to be desired, it remains a unusually marked example and the only one of its kind I have personally encountered.
