Great example of a Post-WW2 RAF officers service dress cap, made by Moss Bros and dating post-1953. It is complete with Queen Crown officers badge and black faux leather chinstrap.
This example is in good overall condition with only some minor grubbiness to the material. The liner and sweatband are in good shape and there is only a very small nick to the leather at the rear of the band. There is a small bit of ribbing to the serge on the peak, however it is barely noticeable. The inside of the liner has stuck to the underside as is common with these caps, with the imprinted evidence of a name tag having been fixed to it at some point. The 'Moss Bros' makers label is still clearly visible underneath. The cap badge and mohair band are in good condition with little wear to them.
The cap is approximately a size 7 and is a good worn example of a Post-WW2 RAF officers cap.
